Aztec Jade The Calling
A young boy dreams
Of a warm summer's night
As he sees the snowflakes falling down
He never felt the face of humankind
Just the cold deep thoughts
Of his own mind
He hardens his heart
To the fears of the outside
After all they blew the cold air in
Their acts of degradation
Are frozen one by one
Suspended in time and all but put aside
I am the face of your fears of a thousand years
Look at the hate in my eyes I have magnified
Out of the ashes I salvage my sanity
Scarred from the inside from now
Until eternity
I reach out to search for the safety of strangers
Their ignorance will help me to my throne
I've built up these walls in desperate defense
