Appalachian Terror Unit Another Day
Vultures surround us
parasites pulling the strings
of the drones building the machine.
A relentless cycle of masters and slaves
slaying each other under a banner of gain.
Another day of tyranny and rules
Man or machine
humans or tools
A few will prosper many will bleed
their blood will fuel a capitalist regime.
We all call ourselves free but we were born in chains
born as workers born as slaves.
Another day
life passes by
Stuck in a prison
where you work till you die
As the sun starts to rise the dawn fades
and to the tune of alarm clocks
zombies rise from their graves
To toil like mindless beasts and work for their masters gain
We're shackled by nine to five and our bosses pull the chains.
