Sitting in a room and then your mind drifts off,
And you try to swim to shore but you sink deeper into though.
You’re screaming for help but just get water in your mouth
You gotta go with the wave and try to figure things out.
What if, what if the world had never ever know of me?
If a boy with such big dreams had never came to be.
But what’s the point in dreaming if there’s no one to believe in what you dream?
And then you fall back in the water, just to find out it was never what it seemed.
Maybe it’s only me.
Standing on a corner and I’m waiting for a ride
And then I realize no ones coming cause they don’t know I’m alive.
I look down the street see people running from a wave,
It sweeps me off of my feet and right back into low tide.

So when you’re sitting in your room and see your mind just drifting off
You can’t get caught up in the wonder cuz your thoughts will take you under.
So grab a hold of something and hold on for your life
Or you’ll get sucked up by the ocean, the ocean in your mind.
Cuz there a point in dreaming just as long as you will fight for what you dream.
So don’t get caught up in this water that always seems to drown out you and me.
