They move so sweet through our mortal dreams
Behind a curtain of crimson silk
Can you feel their presence?
No one knows their origin still they scar within
Firmly leading our darkened ways into a brighter day
Just like the firstborn unicorn
The one that displayed the horn
The one they must have feared
Still they embraced the one
Can it once more be done?
Daring not to try my wings as my imagination fails
Where is the gate to another life?
I seek and still I never find the path that I must thread
Is the choice that must be made resting in my hands?
