Animal Names 99 Luft Einkaufstasche - Santa's Bday
I looked around, tugged my shirt and paused,
Then I grabbed out from this tree,
I caught a weird bug or it caught me.
Meandering near clouds and bad shots
With a wood tick in my ear,
I felt half crazy, then I felt my hair.
99 red shopping bags filled with things that fly,
I held on tight or at least I sort of tried.
I felled a branch, plucked a leaf and shot,
I took a bird out from my spot.
She fed me red feathers and I barely coughed
Out what I was just trying to say
Because she got up and flew away,
Might have cawed like a sleigh bell but I couldn’t tell.

I held on tight or at least I sort of tried.
I looked up that bird every time I climbed a tree,
I tried to fly and broke my wrist at 4 and 9 and 23.
Our house is a very, very, very fine house but that can’t mean we have to stay.
Santa’s birthday comes once a year, not including Easter.
