this honor at best is a common regret/ shared by those that are like of mind/ and maybe concerned with all that we've learned from you/ and I can only see truth in this light// its boredom and bedrooms/its everything/its east coast wednesdays spent listening/ lets hold cold hands in bitter rooms/I'm pleased to meet you// I'm perfectly fine and I'm pleastantly clear sipping in this morning view/ signs they highlight for/ a blueprint in my eyes/ and I'll stay close by/ I'll wait here all night// all I ever looked forward to was seeing fall colors in my rearview/ as these weeks stumble by I have shuttered "hi" engaged in dialouge with few/ and now I'm at beck and call to this house in fall/ it reminds me of youth
