It’s the imagination of anxiety that makes demons appear,
Manifestations of the psyche, enemies self created,
The perils of the outer realm are the mind reflected,
We live in a prison made by self, run from a villain that’s inside,
Hide from a parasite in the mind, let denial make us blind,
Turn the mind against its self, make all the foes that we fight,
Give artillery to our destroyer, give power to our nemesis.

When fear reigns over the human mind, we perceive the world through tainted

Create the evil that comes to test, manifest our nemesis,
We build a fortress around the spirit, putting bars on consciousness,
Condemn the soul to the human shell and confine self to flesh and bone,
Think our self’s into a mental cage and become slaves to our thoughts,
Become trapped inside a matrix where reality distorts.
The eyes are afraid,
Afraid to see.
When the spirit becomes incarcerated,
The mind is the gate and fear is the keeper.
