What I see in my friend is something only I can see,
She is a wonderful person, who has set me free.
I always thought my life was ineffective,
Until she showed me the world from her perspective.
My life was nothing but sure misery, until she came along,
She explained to me the differences between right and wrong.
At this point I knew I had a best friend indeed,
She does not hesitate to help me when I’m in need.
What I see in my friend is something only I can see,
It was as if I was the locket, and she was the key.
I asked the question, and she had the answer,
She would be the only cure if I ever had cancer.
After knowing each other for six whole years,
She had undoubtedly saved me from all my fears.
If it wasn’t for her, I don’t know where I’d be,
For I was just a locket, and she was a key.
What I see in my friend is something only I can see,
She unscrewed my bolts, and at last released me.
Every since she came, she made my spirits soar,
Whenever I began to fall, she always gave me more.
If it wasn’t for her, I would have never spread my wings,
She showed me the meaning of life, and all the small things.
No other person could ever replace her soul,
For she was a shining sun, and I a black hole.
What I see in my friend is something only I can see,
She made my flower bloom and grew my only tree.
I was taken by the hand and shown the way around,
She was the secret buried treasure that I had finally found.
I was told by her that there was no limit to our souls,
Or that we would eventually succeed in all our goals.
She was truly my best friend, and that was quite easy to see,
For all this that I saw in her was exactly what she saw in me.
