Ajj This Is Not A War
This is not a war
It's a conversation about what people really need
Fear is a poison
It breeds violence
And apathy and greed
So people occupy the streets
So they can occupy the hearts of the fearful
This is not a war
It's a conversation about what people really need
This is not a movement
It's a body's immune system reacting to a disease
It's been trying to cure cancer with echinacea
Vitamin C and lots of sleep
Now the tumor got so big
That the blood cells have started to speak
This is not a movement
It's a body's immune system reacting to a disease
This is not a protest
It's a tortoise slowly pushing through a race
I hope the tortoise keeps its patience
While the hare continues to pepper spray its face
Unconditional positive regard to the ones who hurt you
They're just scared
This is not a protest
It's a tortoise slowly pushing through a race
There is no enemy
There's only people that also love their families
And they're scared that they won't have enough
Long after they are deceased
But how much money do they need?
Love turns into fear
And fear turns into greed
There is no enemy there's only dummies
That also love their families
And this is not a phase
It's just a matter of time
With diligence and peacefulness
You will reach them
And you will change their minds
If you stay there long enough
They'll start to see you
If you stay there long enough
They'll start to hear you
If you stay there long enough
They'll stop trying to hurt you
If you stay there long enough
They'll understand you
If you stay there long enough
They will believe you
If you stay there long enough
They will work with you
Because this is not a war
It's a conversation about what people really need
