Afterlife Embrace
As denial envelopes
And expands deep inside
Writhing internally
Disarrying my mind
Contorting my thoughts
Into agony and pain
I estrange and depart
This life I forsake
My will to live on is gone
To die is what I long
Contemplate ways to die
As escape from pathetic life
Forlorn hope
Now slips away
My vitality
Hopelessly fades
My death will se me free
To rest
In serenity
My lunacy debilitates
And reasoning begins to fail
The will to be capitulates
I surrender to my self hate
My mind reels out of control
Dementia has taken hold
Hallucinations take their toll
Upon my withering soul
The blades touch is cold as ice
A flash of light blinds my eyes
I lacerate my flesh and vein
Vital lifeforce now inundates
Blood puddles spray from my wrists
Etched on my face a look of bliss
As I lie, watching time
I embrace the end of my life
Now set free, to journey
Where darkness caresses me
My life gone
Essence withdrawn
Lying deceased a blood stained memory
