To what end will our foolish ways lead? Shall we be
consumed by your Holy wrath and reap our deserved fate? O
my God, come down in power engulf this man in cleansing
winds of Your unceasing mercy. Let adoration rise within
me; liberate Your creation.
Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing
over transgression for the remnant of His inheritance? He
does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in
steadfast love. He will tread our iniquities underfoot.
You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea, as
You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
