3 Daft Monkeys One Fine Day
Perhaps one fine day we will all sail away to a land
where money don’t count.
And, perchance, we will live in a place we can give
true meaning to what we amount to.
Would it be something new from what we usually do? Be
driven by a new force?
Could we all just lay back and go with the craic! And
all just be part of the course?
And what if we don’t buy all the things they supply in
such disposable amounts?
Turn our backs on the ways false history sings songs we
know nothing about.
Cos we all need commerce like we all need a hearse;
It’ll be the death of us all in the end.
Let’s just share what we’ve got and not lose the plot.
I’m sure we can still all be friends.

I might be quite naïve, but I still believe there’s a
chord that runs through us all.
From the most insecure to the big corporate whore, from
the rich right up the poor.
So offer a hand, and join land to land in a chain of
