Here I stand once again searching to find out when all of the hope we had melted to nothing searing the pain inside distraught will it subside down on my knees once more so unrelenting we try to hide lock everything out of sight out of mind as wicked words try to prevail (they won't prevail) just drown them out leave them to rot in their own self conceit become everything that you once dreamed these voices in my mind destroy all it's designed enclosed for none to see all hope is lost if we never try we'll always fail just believe in yourself follow your dreams surrounded by distress no time for cowardice just look within yourself and find the way the undecided path is not an easy task but if you will your way you'll bask in glory try to cut me down one last time the voices within this fragile mind burdened with fear and remorse and regret sometimes it's best to forgive and forget
